Have you ever been to a Tastefully Simple party? A friend of mine had one sometime ago now, and wow was it yummy. One recipe we got to try at the party was a Lime Ball. It’s a thick dip that you eat with some type of cracker. Graham crackers are the best, but you could also use pretzels, and I must say that Tostito’s Lime Tortilla Chips are really good too. My mother and I liked the dip so much that we bought a couple of the kits to make it again.
Those kits just didn’t last long enough though. No one we know has hosted a Tastefully Simple party in quite some time, so my mother decided that we were going to create a Lime Ball ourselves. I must say that I think that we did a great job. I’m not sure our recipe turns out quite as thick, but it’s not runny so it isn’t a problem. Not long after we made our own version we went to a football party where someone brought a Lime Ball that they had made from the kit, and I didn’t think it tasted any different than ours.
