Letters to My Son – February 2015

Dear Nick,
Well, I am a bit late with February’s letter. The week that I normally would have written it we had a lot of snow dumped on us (we got over 16 inches and it was the 3rd most snow in a 24 hour period in our area ever), and at the same time Uncle Robby’s dad passed away. It was a crazy week that we were all happy to see end.
January was very uneventful. It was cold and dark, but it was mostly an average January. When I went to get the pictures for your letter I found that I sadly had very few and I realized that it was because we simply didn’t do much all month. You did have your first real sledding experience and you had a blast! You didn’t even mind the times when the sled tipped over and you face planted in the snow.

Your personality and imagination are amazing and they become more pronounced every day. You love playing at school with your best friend Gio. You tell me all the time how the two of you find the crystals in the Legos and then you chase the bad guys away. At home your favorite things to do were to play with your Mickey Mouse Clubhouse toys and to play grocery store. Store was a favorite game of Mommy’s and it’s fun to see you enjoy it too. You also have developed a new saying which I think is adorable…”What? Are you kidding me?”

Love,
Mommy
