We always loved our Easter Bunny Bags. Each one was always decorated differently. The bottom of it would be filled with colored Easter grass and it would contain Easter candy, and sometimes small gifts like Play-Doh, bubbles, and other little goodies. It has been many years since I have received an Easter Bunny Bag, but the torch has been passed and now it is Nick that looks forward to getting a Bunny Bag.
These bags really are adorable and can be used for so many different things. I had never actually made one, but I knew it wasn’t terribly hard, so I gave it a shot to show all of you. I must say that I was really happy with how it turned out.
Easter Bunny Bag Supplies
- Lunch size paper bag – I happened to have a white one, but you can easily use a brown bag. If you want a white bunny than just color it white.
- Pencil
- Colored pencils or crayons
- Scissors
- Colored Easter grass

Easter Bunny Bag Directions
1. Make a basic outline of the bunny on your bag. You’ll want to make a circle for the head, a bow tie, the ears, and a handle between the ears. Don’t make the ears too thin or they won’t be able to stand up after you cut the bag.

3. Cut out the empty spaces on your bag. This will be the area around the ears. This is why it’s important to not make the ears too thin. Truthfully I should probably have made mine a bit wider, but they worked.

This is a adorable DIY! Easter is great for fun activities!!
Very cute! My nephews would love making these bags.
This is adorable! I love it. I may do this with some brown lunch bags I just found! Pinned and stumbled. 🙂
Super cute!!! What does Nick think of it?
He likes it, but he’s still at the age when he likes what’s in it even more. 😉
