MyMemories Suite Software Review {Giveaway}

I love a finished scrapbook. It is so much fun to take some time every once in awhile to look through them. My biggest problem, especially now, is that I just don’t have the time to make them. I have very little free time, and it takes forever to start scrapbooking.  By the time I lug out my huge bag and get everything ready to go I’m out of time. I’ve also found in the past that it can take so long to get ready that by the time I’m done I’ve lost my scrapbooking mojo.  I recently got a chance to try the MyMemories Scrapbooking Suite. This software was truly answer to all of my scrapbooking problems.

The MyMemories software is pretty much an in depth tool that helps you design everything from scrapbook pages to photo projects and custom made photo gifts. In my first attempt I decided to go easy on myself.  I decided to do a single scrapbook page.  I decided to make a page dedicated to Nick having fun at Castaway Cay. The software comes with some basic scrapbooking supplies, but nothing was very beachy, so I went back to the website to look for some digital scrapbooking kits to use. The prices of the kits vary, and some of them are even Free!  Since I was still getting the hang of things I just went with one beach theme kit that were free.

You can see my final page above. Making it was really easy once I got the hang of things. It also went pretty fast since I didn’t have to take any time to cut and glue everything.  I have arthritis in my hand, so not having to cut and glue was an added bonus that I hadn’t even thought about.  One thing I loved was that you could use the kit pieces over and over. When you create a new project you have the choice of designing it yourself or using an already made template.  This really makes the software user friendly for all levels of scrapbookers. I can’t wait to find the time to download more kits to my program. I have quite a few scrapbooks that I’ve been wanting to make including one of Nick’s first year.
