Parenting Pointers #4
Everyone have a good Thanksgiving and a nice holiday weekend? We had a nice Thanksgiving, but we didn’t go anywhere, so we’re still at home and things are normal for us. Well, that is besides the fact that Nick is still sick. One day he seems better and happy and then he’ll be fussy, whiny, and he’s hanging on me. It’s so frustrating. I don’t want to rush time by, but I can’t wait until he can tell me what’s bothering him so I know what to do to make things better. Poor little buddy, I feel so bad for him.
We didn’t have a lot of posts last week (boo). Hopefully things pick up soon. Be sure to share this party with your other blogging friends. The more people that link up the more views you should get on your posts! A big thank you to all that did link up and shared the party. Last weeks posts were pretty much all of the same popularity, so I decided to pick three of my favorites to highlight. These are in the order they were linked up in.
First up is Thankful for What We Don’t Have from Brielle and Me. This is a great post that helps remind all of us that we need to be thankful for things that we do and don’t have.
Next up is Holiday Decorating Ideas Inspired by Gingerbread M&Ms from Carrie Elle. These M&M trees are simply adorable and Carrie gives a great step-by-step tutorial on how to make them.
Finally we have Why You Should Visit Trails End at Disney’s Fort Wilderness from Fairytales and Fitness. Anyone surprised I liked the Disney post? No? I didn’t think so. I must say that I fully agree with this post. Trails End has been a favorite of ours for many years, and it’s one of those hidden gems that many people don’t know about.
Party Rules:
1. This is a parenting focused party. Please link up any posts that you feel are useful to parents (tips, recipes, crafts, activities, etc.). Please no giveaways, links to other linky parties, direct affiliate links, or links to Etsy shops. If I feel a post does not fit the rules I do have the right to remove it.
2. Please follow your hostess (Rock-A-Bye Parents) back in some way. You can find my follow buttons in the top header and and other follow links in the sidebar.
3. You may link up to 5 different posts. Please link directly to your post and not your blog’s home page.
4. I will be pinning many of my favorite posts every week, so you may want to follow my Parenting Pointers Pinterest Board to see if I pin your post!
5. I Do NOT require you to link back to my blog, but feel free to do so if you would like. It does help spread the word of this party which helps traffic for all of us. If you would like you can grab the linky party button below.
6. Finally please don’t link and run. A party isn’t any fun if people don’t mingle. Please try to visit at least two other links that are listed.
