Using School Stickers To Reward Behavior {Giveaway}

Sharing is caring!

School Stickers
Disclosure: I received a potty training sticker chart from School Stickers in order to facilitate this review.  All opinions are my own.

I’ll admit that I really don’t want to potty train, but I kind of thought we’d be at it by now.  I was waiting for daycare to be ready to work on it with Nick as well, but since the building is still being remodeled due to the flooding in January they aren’t really able to do it yet.  I don’t think training Nick is going to be an easy task though so I really don’t mind waiting.  I figure the more he’s ready the better.

Since I know we can’t put off training forever, and since I’m expecting it to be difficult, I’m arming myself with all of the tools that I can.  I know that many people have had very good luck with sticker charts, so when I was asked to review a personalized sticker chart from School Stickers I jumped on the opportunity.  I had thought that I would just get a really cute sticker chart and use it for potty training, but I was very excited to find that they offerd an actual potty training chart with personalized stickers!

Chart and Stickers
Sticker charts are a great way to reward good behavior.  Many kids will want to behave well just to be able to get the cool sticker to add to their chart (and these ones are personalized, so that’s way cool!), but you can increase the incentive by telling you child that something will happen once they’ve filled the chart up.  It doesn’t have to be a big thing like buying a toy (although that can be an option), but it could be something as simple as a family game night.  You and your child can choose what they’re working for, but you’d be amazed at how well something so simple can work to change behavior for good.  In fact many teachers even use this technique in their classes to help mold good behavior all the time.

I love all of the different rewards charts that School Stickers offer.  They are so cute and each chart has personalized stickers that go with it.  What’s also nice is that the cost of the charts and stickers isn’t terribly expensive, so it’s easy to buy more once your little one has filled theirs up!

Do you think your child might respond well to a rewards chart?  Well now’s you chance to give it a try for free!  Four lucky rewards are going to win a rewards chart plus a set of personalized stickers to go with it!  Please note that while I received the potty training chart that particular chart is not included in the choices for the giveaway.  Your choice has to be a chart that specifically says it’s a rewards chart.  Good luck!
