Sunday Parenting Pointers #1
You may be arriving at Rock-A-Bye Parents expecting to add your latest giveaway to my Giveaway Link-Up. I have been hosting my Giveaway Link-Up for the majority of the year, but I have noticed over the past many weeks that it no longer seemed useful. Not many giveaways were being added, and of the ones that were there very few were getting clicks, so I felt that it was time to move on. On Sundays I will now be hosting a linky party called Parenting Pointers instead. I’m very excited about this and feel that it actually is a better fit for Rock-A-Bye Parents then the Giveaway Link-Up was. You’ll still be able to find great giveaways on Rock-A-Bye Parents (I have one starting this week for a subscription for Microsoft Office 365!), but I will no longer be hosting the Giveaway Link-Up.
For those of you that don’t really know what a linky party is it is a chance for bloggers to stop by and add posts from their own blogs that they feel fit the topic and will be useful for all of my readers. It may take quite a few weeks to gain speed, but I hope that soon you’ll find this to be a great source of parenting information. Parenting is a pretty broad topic, so you’ll likely find anything from recipes, to crafts, to other useful parenting information.
Party Rules:
1. This is a parenting focused party. Please link up any posts that you feel are useful to parents. Please no giveaways, links to other linky parties, direct affiliate links, or links to Etsy shops. If I feel a post does not fit the rules I do have the right to remove it.
2. Please follow your hostess (Rock-A-Bye Parents) back in some way. You can find my follow buttons in the top header and and other follow links in the sidebar.
3. You may link up to 5 different posts. Please link directly to your post and not your blog’s home page.
4. I will be pinning many of my favorite posts every week, so you may want to follow my Parenting Pointers Pinterest Board to see if I pin your post!
5. I Do NOT require you to link back to my blog, but feel free to do so if you would like. It does help spread the word of this party which helps traffic for all of us. If you would like you can grab the linky party button below.
6. Finally please don’t link and run. A party isn’t any fun if people don’t mingle. Please try to visit at least two other links that are listed.

Thanks for hosting this! I linked up a post I wrote over the summer about mom memories and one thing I will NOT miss. Which coincidentally is just in time since tomorrow is SUNDAY. (hint, what I won’t miss involves yelling at children to get in the d*** car before we’re late to church. :-P) 🙂
Oh I only have a two year old, but I already feel that way. It is so hard to get out the door on time.
