A Quiet Rock-A-Bye Parents
I’m sure many of you have noticed that Rock-A-Bye Parents has been very quiet lately. There hasn’t been a new post in two weeks, and the Facebook fan page went without a new picture of the week for some time as well. The reason behind the lack of activity is because we’ve been very busy enjoying our first family vacation, and recuperating from it. Why is it that you always need a vacation after a vacation?
I tried to write enough posts before we left to cover the time when we were gone, but things were so crazy before we left that I wasn’t able to get more than a couple done. Of course once we got home things were crazy again, so it has taken me a few days to be able to focus on the blog again. The first few days home were entirely consumed with laundry and helping an exhausted toddler readjust to normal everyday life.
We had a fantastic time on our Disney cruise. Our trip wasn’t without its problems and mishaps (honestly what vacation is perfect?), but we still had a wonderful, vacation full of warm weather and some amazing memories. I will say though that we’ve decided that we most likely won’t attempt the drive to Florida again until Nick is a bit older. We love the drive, but flying seems like a better plan. I’ll get into the specifics on that later though.
Our trip was so wonderful that I want to share it with all of you. Many of my upcoming posts will be trip recaps. I love writing recaps because it allows me to relive our trip, and I get to share it with all of you. I hope you enjoy them, and that some of you take away useful information from them. We can learn from our mistakes, and we can learn from the mistakes of others as well.
Coming up: Getting Ready to Go

It was such a wonderful cruise. With 3 children under 3 it was outstanding. Love every min. Of it.
