A Big Thank You And Celebration
Yesterday Rock-A-Bye Parents celebrated its first anniversary. It’s hard for me to believe that it has been a year since our first post went public. Last September I got the idea to start a blog. I wanted a place where I could share stories about our daily lives as well as being able to share, and pass on, what I had learned about parenting. I know that I do a lot of online research about every day things, and I wanted to be able to help other people the way that they had helped me. I am so happy with how things have gone with the blog.
So much has happened during the past year since the blog was started. Nick was only 5 months old. He has been sick, and put on antibiotics, oh so many times. Actually he was really only sick a handful of times, but they all lasted so long that it feels like he was sick at least half of the time. Not to mention that when the blog was started we had no idea that we would discover that he had an egg allergy. When we started the blog Nick was just starting to sit up on his own, and now he’s crawling all over the place and standing and walking by himself. Little ones change so much in the course of a year.
I have to give a big thank you to everyone of you that is reading this post. A blog is nothing without people to read it. Every time you read one of our posts, and especially every time you leave a comment, it is so wonderful. You add so much to our blog and best of all I have learned a lot from your thoughts and comments as well. I especially want to give a big shout out to all of you that follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Google+.
I’m very much looking forward to what Rock-A-Bye Parent’s second year will bring. Who knows what things will happen and how Nick will change. Thank you so much for following Rock-A-Bye Parents. I look forward to sharing more with you.
