Nick has been wanting a birthday party for several years now. The thought of planning a party has always just seemed like so much work, but I felt like it was time to finally give in to his request. I probably would have given him a party sooner if I had realized how easy it is to host a Chuck E. Cheese’s birthday party!

How to Plan the Easiest Birthday Party Ever with Chuck E. Cheese’s
We live in a very small town, and there isn’t a whole lot here. I’m not sure how things are where you live, but it seems to me that home parties are not the thing. People just don’t seem to have them. That means that in our town you need to drive twenty minutes minimum to get to a location that will host birthday parties.
We looked at a couple of different birthday location options, but Nick’s choice was Chuck E. Cheese’s. Seriously, what kid doesn’t want a birthday party there? If I had known how easy they make planning birthday parties I wouldn’t have even looked anywhere else.
From the moment we decided to hold Nick’s birthday there, to filling out the thank you notes at the end, Chuck E. Cheese’s has had everything covered for me. There is truly nothing they didn’t think of when it comes to planning a birthday party. It’s no wonder that Chuck E. Cheese’s is the number one place for birthdays!

Party Planning
Booking a Chuck E. Cheese’s birthday party is very easy. All you need to do is go to the Chuck E. Cheese’s website, and it will walk you through all of your choices.
Party Times
There are a lot of days and times that you can book a Chuck E. Cheese’s birthday party. You even have the option of booking a VIP party on Saturday or Sunday morning. That’s when your party gets to take over the entire play area an hour before the restaurant opens!
Special Deals
When you book your party be sure to check out any great deals that are being offered. By hosting a party on Sunday we earned a play card with 100 play points. Plus we earned an additional 20 play points because I booked the party online. Now we get to go back and have fun sometime soon and Nick already has 120 play points to use!

Party Options
There are so many options that you’ll get to choose from. Your main choice will be the party package. There are three package choices. We went with the Mega Super Star package. In my opinion it’s the best one. It made my life so easy.
Included in the Mega Super Star package is:
- 2 slices of a 1-topping pizza and fun refillable cup that the kids get to take home
- 9 party balloons
- 1000 tickets for the birthday star
- A special play band for the birthday star
- A round in the ticket blaster for the birthday star
- Recognition during the birthday show
- A cup of Dippin’ Dots for every guest
- A goody bag filled with toys and candy
- A coiled wrist band for each guest
- And…..UNLIMITED game play!
This package had everything I needed. Plus the kids got 2 hours of unlimited game play. It was incredible. Our guests didn’t have to even think about what they wanted to play because they could do everything they wanted for two entire hours.
Besides the party package you then can choose to add on extras such as more food (we got stuff for all the parents), more balloons, a pinata, and even a birthday cake! Yes, Chuck E. Cheese’s even offers several cake choices. You are allowed to bring your own cake, but why go through the hassle? Besides, it’s actually really good cake!

Invitations
Once you have your party all booked it’s time to invite your guests. Chuck E. Cheese’s has you covered there too! On their website just look under the “Birthday & Events” tab to find party invitations. You can choose from email invitations or free printables. We choose to print out and mail invitations, but I also sent an email invitation later to all of our guests that hadn’t RSVPed yet.
Chuck E. Cheese’s Birthday Party Time
On the day of the party all we had to do was simply show up and have a good time. Chuck E. Cheese’s assigns a party hostesses to every party. If your hostess was like ours than you’ll truly have nothing to do. Our hostess was on top of everything. She was always one step ahead of me the entire time.
When you arrive you’ll be shown to where your birthday table is. Then your hostess will greet you and take your food orders such as what toppings you want on the pizzas.
From that point on all you have to do is make sure that everyone is having fun. Your hostess will keep on top of times, make sure the kids all get fed, and even cut and serve the cake.
When the party is over the hostess will even clean up the mess. The worst part of the party, right? All you have to worry about at this point is getting the gifts to the car.

After the Party
Even when the party is over Chuck E. Cheese’s is still there to help you out. Remember the printable invites that I mentioned before? Well, on the same page you can find thank you note printables! What I especially love about these printables is that they are a fill in the blank. For younger kids, or ones like Nick that are still working on handwriting, this is a great way to get a nice note without your child feeling overwhelmed writing them.
Book Your Own Chuck E. Cheese’s Birthday Party
I really can’t stress enough how wonderful our experience with a Chuck E. Cheese’s birthday party was. I would have another party there without a thought. It was so nice not having to go from store to store to buy party supplies, balloons, a cake, or anything. I simply sent out the invites and let them do the rest.
You can book a birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese’s up to 90 days in advance, or even the day before as long as there is space available.
Ready to book your own party? Just head to the Chuck E. Cheese’s website and you’ll have it booked in no time!
