How To Make Flavored Water: 18 Different Recipes + Bonus Water Intake Printable!

Sharing is caring!

On Monday I told you about 7 benefits of drinking water. I know that no matter what benefits I share there will be some of you that think, “that’s great, but I don’t like water.” Except for when I exercised I used to not want to drink water either. I would drink it a bit more during the summer since I was hot, but for the most part I used to always reach for something else. There are ways to make getting enough water a little easier though.

I have found that drinking a lot of water first thing in the morning helps me get a lot of my water intake taken care of before the day has hardly started. I also usually make my water very hot. So hot in fact that sometimes I can’t hold the cup. While hot water may not sound appealing I found that during many months I didn’t drink enough water because I was too cold. By making my water hot I’ve taken away that excuse, and I’ve found I really like it that way.

Many people complain that they don’t like water because of the lack of flavor that water. You can get around this though by making natural flavored water. Wondering how to make flavored water? Well, I’ve rounded up 18 infused water recipes for you!

Sometimes you can get yourself to do something you don’t really want to do by making yourself accountable for it, so as an added bonus I’m including a free water intake printable! The printable can be used to track your water intake for an entire week. The generic recommendation is to drink eight 8oz of water a day, but the amount you should drink truly varies from person to person. I always shoot for ten to twelve glasses, so the printable is made to track up to ten glasses a day. There is also a spot where you can record the week and any notes that you might want to make.

I find that when I start drinking my water early in the day, it creates a good habit for the rest of the day. For some reason, the more I drink, the more I want.

    1. I totally agree Heather. I get up and make myself drink 2 to 3 large glasses every morning. If I don’t do that then I never seem to drink enough water for the day.
