Review Of Shari’s Berries
 
There is nothing like a strawberry coated in chocolate. To me it is an ultimate treat, so when I was asked to write a review on Shari’s Berries I wasn’t about to say no. To be honest I was more jumping up and down with my hand in the air going, “pick me!”
Ordering from Shari’s Berries was for the most part very easy. The hard part was making a choice! I found that besides the strawberries there are also chocolate covered cherries, chocolate dipped cookie, cake pops, and more! If you ever order a gift from them you’ll have to place an order for yourself as well. Everything looks simply amazing!
Once you have finally made a decision placing your order is a breeze. Since your delivery items are perishable you are able to choose the date, and to some extent, the time that you want your delivery to arrive. The company does a fantastic job on keeping you up to date on your delivery as well. I got emails for my order conformation, one to tell me it had been picked up for delivery, and still another one to tell me that it had been delivered.
When my order arrived I was very impressed. The items had been packaged in the best possible way to stay fresh. There was even a cold pack inside! We never have enough cold packs in our house, so to me this was an added bonus. I had chosen to order a combination of a dozen strawberries and ten cherries. Each type of fruit was packaged in a nice box with a ribbon. Truly it would make a beautiful gift.
As far as what was inside? Well, it was amazing! The strawberries were all huge. They obviously have very high standards when choosing which fruit they’ll use. I think we all (Jason, my mom, and myself) liked the cherries the best, but it was all very yummy.

I received the package for Valentine’s Day from my daughter and family i received them on time. They were very well packaged and were cold. When I opened the box I found the strawberries to be medium in size and were hard and lacked flavor. The chocolate coating was disappointing and the dipped cookies were dry and tasted old and not like fresh baked. I know my daughter paid a lot to do something nice for me but as much as I hated to complain I. had to tell her the truth. Sorry but Iwould never recommended these berries and maybe the end result would’ve been different if they had been in season but what’s the excuse for the cookies? Why can’t you use real choc.? I know the problem in the hot weather but in winter? Sorry but my review remains the same.
Hi Beverly, I’m sorry I haven’t had a chance to reply. A lot has been going on in my life right now and I haven’t been paying a lot of attention to my blog. I’m also sorry you had a bad experience with Shari’s Berries. I still stand behind my review, but it is 2 years old and things can change. The berries should have been cold so that the chocolate didn’t melt during transportation, and I suppose the strawberry crops this year might not be the best…I didn’t try the cookies so I can’t say anything about those. If you’re really upset though it probably would be best to contact Shari’s Berries.
The cherries look AWESOME! I’ve had their strawberries and they were delicious (and huge and super juicy)!

I’ve always liked their product even though it’s a little too pricey to have on a regular basis.
They really are on the pricy side, so I agree that they are best for special occasions, or a really nice treat now and again.

If you like cherries then you’ll probably like the chocolate ones.
