Sunday Parenting Pointers #2
I wanted to first give a big thank you to everyone that joined my first Parenting Pointers linky party last week! I felt it was a fairly good turnout for the first week. Hopefully this week has an even better turnout!
How has your week been? Ours has been up and down. The week started out great because my brother passed his certification to be an athletic trainer. He studied so hard and I am so proud of him. Later in the week I started working as a VA which was also great. I love the ability to work more from home. I just love what I’m doing. At the end of the week my mother survived layoffs at her job. Big sigh of relief there! Sadly though Nick is still sick and crazy cranky, and Jason’s Grandma passed away this weekend. What a week.
One thing that I will be doing every week is highlighting a post from the previous week’s party. For now I’ll be highlighting the most popular post from the week prior. I may do more once the party gets bigger though.
Last weeks most popular post was My Hiatus is Over! from Brielle & Me. Could you go 10 days without getting on any social media? I’m really not sure that I would be able to do it.

Party Rules:
1. This is a parenting focused party. Please link up any posts that you feel are useful to parents (tips, recipes, crafts, activities, etc.). Please no giveaways, links to other linky parties, direct affiliate links, or links to Etsy shops. If I feel a post does not fit the rules I do have the right to remove it.
2. Please follow your hostess (Rock-A-Bye Parents) back in some way. You can find my follow buttons in the top header and and other follow links in the sidebar.
3. You may link up to 5 different posts. Please link directly to your post and not your blog’s home page.
4. I will be pinning many of my favorite posts every week, so you may want to follow my Parenting Pointers Pinterest Board to see if I pin your post!
5. I Do NOT require you to link back to my blog, but feel free to do so if you would like. It does help spread the word of this party which helps traffic for all of us. If you would like you can grab the linky party button below.
6. Finally please don’t link and run. A party isn’t any fun if people don’t mingle. Please try to visit at least two other links that are listed.

Thanks for highlighting my post from last week! Let me tell ya, the 10-day hiatus was worth it!! Linking up this week about my nearly 30 year relationship with my hubby. It’s been a rough road, especially with our 17yo daughter with special needs. But, we’re still together and thriving!
