Wordless Wednesday: Cousins

Sharing is caring!

My cousin was in town for a long weekend last week, and she brought her three kids.  These are the only cousins Nick has that are around his age, and he had the best time playing with them.  We found so much to do.  The kids even got to watch the homecoming parade (oh the joy of a small town) and we took the kids out to a diary farm to see the animals.

  1. I wish my kids had cousins. My siblings have children that are closer to my age, so my children and my siblings grandchildren are similar ages.

    1. That’s actually how we are too. The cousin that came to visit is actually the daughter of my grandmother’s sister. They’re 12 years apart, and my great aunt is actually only 11 years older than my mom. Our generations are all messed up. LOL

    1. What a big family! Everyone in our family only had 1 or 2 kids, so not a lot of cousins. My cousin that just came to visit has really thrown things off by having 3. LOL

  2. That is so great. I wish my kids had cousins. My husband and I are the oldest…so our siblings haven’t had any kids – none of them are even married.

    1. Truthfully we’re in the same boat. Jason and I are both the oldest and none of our siblings are married, or have kids, either. Our family is really overlapped in generations (my grandmother and her sister are 12 years apart). This is actually my mom’s cousin’s kids. Sadly they moved farther away last summer, so we only get to see them a couple times a year. I wish they were closer so the kids could spend more time together.
