Back To School Coupons – Fall 2013

Back to School Coupons

I heard on the news the other day that the average family will spend $500 in back to school costs!  I must say that I was shocked.  I assume a good portion of that goes to new clothes (they didn’t break it down), but still.  Now days with schools feeling the financial pinch they are relying heavily on parents to foot the bill of not only supplies but basic paper products (tissues, paper towel, toilet paper) as well as other miscellaneous products such as hand sanitizer.  The lists that I’ve seen from other moms amazes me.  Where you live makes a big difference on the actual requirements of what your child needs to bring with them on the first day of school, but either way you can expect to spend a pretty penny buying it.  To try and help your budget out a little I rounded up a bunch of coupons you can use when you purchase those many list items.   Remember that you normally can print out two of every coupon per computer.  New coupons may come out on Thursday since it’s the beginning of a new month.  If that’s the case I will update this and let you know about it on Facebook and Twitter.  I hope these help someone!

  1. Great coupons – thanks so much! It is amazing how much it costs to have a child in school. I THOUGHT we would save all kinds of money since we don’t have to pay for daycare, but field trips and t-shirts and supplies take a bite!

  2. This is our first official “back to school” shopping year…this stuff is so expensive! Thanks for finding these!

  3. We have a little over one month before our kids go back, but with four of them, I’m dreading the cost to get them all ready for school. It’s going to be a small fortune, I’m sure.

  4. Toilet paper? Oh wow. I think that is a little silly. I think it is silly that we ask students to bring tissue, but that is what my school does, so I do it. As a teacher, we (at least my team teacher and I) try to keep this list short and as cheap as possible. The coupons are good!

  5. $500, I’m think I’m looking at twice that amount with a High Schooler, a Jr. High Schooler and one in Elementary School. School starts in 2 weeks and I haven’t even planned or bought anything yet. Thanks for the coupons.
